Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), one of Thailand’s and Southeast Asia’s leading international standard venues, has fully implemented COVID-19 prevention measures as part of the company’s efforts to help control the spread. Following Thailand’s reopening plan, BITEC announces the centre’s opening on November 1st, 2021, to stimulate Thailand’s MICE business by the end of the year.
Following the relaxation of measures and plans to support Thailand’s reopening to foreign visitors in November, BITEC is ready to provide services to help all types of MICE events by government authorisation under “We care for you” strict hygiene and safety standards. The standards include COVID-19 prevention measures based on the Covid-free setting, Universal Prevention concepts, staff service development and international standards facilities.
Ms Panittha Buri, Managing Director of Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), said, “Since the outbreak began, BITEC, as a venue operator, has continuously adjusted our policies to align with the government policies. While the centre was closed, BITEC focused on delivering hygiene, safety to raise our standards and prepare for the reopening. To allow the business to operate by the government regulations.”
In addition, BITEC focuses on infection prevention by screening, cleaning each area and increasing levels of protection. As a result, visitors can be confident in our staff’s safety. Every BITEC employee has completed the COVID-19 vaccine course and is required to get tested with an Antigen Test Kit (ATK) before entering the Venue The current measure also encourages fewer physical interactions by providing alternative meeting services and cashless payment services at the centre.
BITEC expands opportunities and facilities business for customers by participating as venues in the “Thailand a Safer Place for Meetings Phase 3” campaign of TCEB. Through the campaign, TCEB will provide financial assistance to organisers from now until December 31st, 2021.
