From Debut to Asia’s Biggest
From March 20–22, BITEC transformed into Southeast Asia’s largest indoor fitness arena. Over 17,500 athletes registered to compete across five continuous event halls spanning over 31,420 SQ.M. — nearly double the 8,700 who turned out at our sold-out debut in May 2025, marking a new milestone for HYROX anywhere in the Asia-Pacific region. To put the scale in Perspective: when HYROX launched its very first event in Hamburg in 2017, it welcomed just 650 participants. By the time it arrived in Thailand, Bangkok was already matching — and surpassing — some of the sport’s most established European stops.

HYROX requires a full race circuit: eight functional workout stations, kilometre-long running loops, wave based timing infrastructure, and continuous athlete flow across three full days of competition — all delivered seamlessly at scale. BITEC’s column-free, high-clearance event halls gave the HYROX team the flexibility to build that circuit without compromise. Our multi-zone support services, on-site food and beverage facilities, and 5,000 parking bays enabled tens of thousands of athletes and spectators to move through the venue smoothly — day after day.
