BITEC Commitment

BITEC aims at upgrading its organization into BITEC Sustainability by strategically planning to become the sustainable events location that covers economic, social, and environmental dimensions.

BITEC has initiated to support energy and environment where all stakeholders united to be one of the factors of success; with energy saving, resources conservation, renewable innovations and technologies applied in BITEC’s buildings, services, and facilities for events under the Sustainable Development Goal of UN Global Impact.

OBJECTIVE & POLICY

BITEC, a renowned exhibition and convention center, faced the challenge of managing amounts of waste generated by its numerous events. embarked on a transformative journey to embrace sustainability and align its operations with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

BITEC journey towards sustainability demonstrates the transformative power of aligning operations with the SDGs. By embracing innovative waste management solutions, the center has not only reduced its environmental impact but also created a positive ripple effect, inspiring others to prioritize sustainability. As BITEC continues to evolve, it remains committed to being a beacon of sustainability in the exhibition and convention industry, leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Bangkok International Trade &Exhibition Centre (BITEC) provides services for Meeting, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions and Special Events. As part our commitment to sustainability, BITEC is dedicated to continuously improving our sustainability practices. We have developed a venue sustainability policy as follows

1.Initiate practical and impactful venue management sustainability standards.
2.Disclose sustainability performance with transparency and in accordance with international standards to enable the continual development.
3.Establish impact measurements and Event Sustainability Report
4.Operate and ensure the balance in the economy, society, environment and the needs of all stakeholders to ensure a sustainable growth.
5.Reduce the venue operational impacts on society, environment, occupational health and safety at every step of the supply chains.
