Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) received Thailand Energy Awards in the category of excellent controlled building, organized by the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency (DEDE), Ministry of Energy. BITEC has implemented building energy management as determined by law and there is a concrete energy conservation performance. It is considered another important development of the Bhiraj Buri Group in terms of energy conservation and renewable energy development at the national level. BITEC is committed to continuously implementing 7 energy conservation measures in the past year, including replacing the new bulb, improving the split type air conditioner, cleaning the condenser chiller tube, handling system for turning off the water cooler, installing VSD Cooling Tower, reducing the VSD frequency of the Air Handling Unit (AHU) and managing Solar Rooftop System.
