Environmental Management Policy (ISO 14001)

Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) provides services for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions, and Special events. BITEC has a commitment to be responsible for environmental conservation and continuously improve environmental performance. BITEC has established and maintained environmental management system according to the requirements of ISO 14001 as followings;

  1. Implement Environmental Management System to reduce the environmental impact as much as possible (both direct and indirect impacts)
  2. Comply with relevant environmental legislation, regulations, and with other environmental requirements of customers
  3. Provide the framework for setting and reviewing objectives and targets and improving environmental performance consistency and continuously
  4. Be a model of a green service venue that has a process to efficient the energy, natural resources, and waste minimization
  5. Promote, and develop knowledge and awareness. Information related to the environment shall be consistently communicated within and outside the organization.

EVENT SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY (ISO 20121:2012)

Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) provides services for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions, and Special events. BITEC has a commitment to be responsible for event sustainability and continuously improve event sustainability performance. BITEC has established and maintained an event sustainability management system according to the requirements of ISO 20121 as followings;

  1. Implement an event sustainability management system to effectively manage its impacts.
  2. Continually improving its performance through the effective implementation of sustainability improvement initiatives.
  3. Operate and ensure the balance in the economy, society, environment, and the needs of all stakeholders in order to ensure sustainable growth.
  4. Reduce the operational impacts on society, environment, occupational health, and safety at every step of the supply chain.
  5. Disclose sustainability performance with transparency and in accordance with international standards in order to enable continual development.
  6. Comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and with other event sustainability requirements of customers.

This announcement is effective on November 1, 2020.

MICE Security Management Policy (TIS 22300)

Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC) provides services for Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions, and Special events. BITEC has the commitment to be responsible for security management systems and continuously improving environmental performance. BITEC has established and maintained a security management system according to the requirements of TIS 22300 as followings; 

  1. Develop measures to control and prevent threats and risks that may occur in BITEC.
  2. Operate the business under security-related laws and other requirements.
  3. Strictly committed to business ethics and security guidelines.
  4. Continuously promote and develop the knowledge of employees.
  5. Continuously improve prevention and mitigation methods to create the confidence of our employees, customers and stakeholders in the security management system.

Previously announcement No. CPD/QSHE-001/2012 is obsoleted and replaced with this announcement which will be effective from October 1, 2019, or until further notice.
