BITEC continues to follow the roadmap towards sustainable MICE standards. Started by pushing itself to be the one of “Green Venue” in Southeast Asia.
Ms. Panittha Buri, Managing Director of BITEC said, “We set our goal to upgrade ourselves to be “BITEC Sustainability” by formulating a strategic plan for a sustainable MICE venue covering economics, society and environment. BITEC has initiated a concrete promotion of energy and the environment with cooperation from not only our staffs but also BITEC partners from the public to private sectors e.g. Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), The Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, Less Plastic Thailand and Bangna District Office.
Moreover, BITEC determinedly has applied the innovation and technology in energy-saving standards in the buildings and event areas that enhance our service potential and consistent with our long-term goal as “The organization with environmental and social responsibility”. By 2025, BITEC aims to be the first venue in Southeast Asia that customers think of when looking for a MICE business partner.
